designers Tony Ingrao and Randy
Kemper hosted an afternoon cocktail party
in the garden of their East Hampton estate to benefit Guild
Hall and Armitage Gone! Dance on
July 21. The event, vice chaired by Ralph
Destino Jr. and Courtney
Rainey, featured a one-time–only expanded
performance of the Ligeti Essays, presented
by Guild Hall, choreographed by Karole Armitage with
set design by David Salle. Guests also bid on art auction
items by Scott Grodesky, Jeff Koons, Sophie
Matisse, Martin Mull, David Salle and Elyn
Zimmerman.
The benefit committee included Arden Wohl,
Diane and Alan Lieberman, Anait
Bian, Sharon Bush, designer Jackie
Rogers, R. Couri Hay, Melissa
Berkelhammer, Elaine Sargent, Andrew Borrok, Andrea
Correale, A.A. Lari, and Bentley
Meeker.
